After these days of initial experiences, the ILS “air” is beginning to change. It is more than a move from initiation to a set routine. The uniqueness of ILS doesn’t quite make it very likely that there will be any degree of normality. All efforts up until not have been focused on laying foundations upon which the whole program is built. Now this ILS team is set to begin building.

Now that all introductory classes and introductory experiences have passed, students are discovering their niches and points of work.  Each day is filled with growth.  Leadership coaches and teachers are offering the next level of challenges to help bring each student up to new levels. Students are beginning projects and integration programs to put everything they have learned in hands-on effectiveness.

The first quarter of the course was officially wrapped up and celebrated with an offsite visit to a well known Italian Palace, the “Palacio Massimo.” Following a brief tour of the premises several students instigated table discussions, giving testimonies and offering resolutions to bring this segment to a close. It was a wonderful opportunity to review the learning experience! The discussions led the students to learn from each other and garnish new perspectives to give zeal to the next platform of growth.
